Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 15, 2026
Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Edulga website and learning platform (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you are under 18, you may use Edulga only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If you use Edulga on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
Your account
Accounts are managed through our authentication provider, Clerk. You sign in with your email address and a one-time code sent to that address, and password resets are also confirmed with a code sent by email. You can also join an organization's workspace through an invitation link.
You agree to:
- give accurate information and keep it up to date;
- keep your email account secure and not share your sign-in codes or your account with anyone;
- tell us promptly at code@edulga.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission; and
- take responsibility for activity that happens through your account.
If you join an organization, its admins can manage your membership, grant you credits, and see your learning progress and credit usage within the organization. The organization may remove you from its workspace.
The service
Edulga is an AI-powered personalized learning platform. You can create AI-generated learning roadmaps made up of modules and lessons, take AI-generated assessments, upload learning resources such as PDFs, videos and links, track your mastery and progress, and chat with our AI tutor, Lula. Organizations can manage their members and the credits available to them.
We keep improving Edulga, so we may add, change or remove features over time.
Content generated by AI, including roadmaps, lessons, assessments, mastery estimates and Lula's answers, is produced automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. It is provided for learning purposes only and is not professional advice, whether legal, medical, financial or career advice. Always verify important information with reliable sources before relying on it.
Plans and credits
Edulga offers paid subscription plans, currently Starter, Pro and Max, billed monthly or yearly. Each plan grants a number of credits for each billing period. The credits included in each plan, and its price, are shown before you buy.
Credits are used up by actions such as generating roadmaps, lessons and assessments, processing uploaded resources, and chatting with Lula. Credits are held in three separate pools: generation, chat and tutor credits. General chat and tutor chat with Lula draw on separate pools.
The following rules apply to credits:
- Credits belong to a workspace, either your personal workspace or an organization's workspace.
- Credits can be used until the end of the billing period for which they were granted. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
- Members of an organization receive credits from their organization admin, not by purchasing a plan.
- We may offer free, promotional, referral or beta credits. These may have their own conditions and are not refundable.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold or exchanged for money.
Prices and currency
Prices are displayed in Egyptian pounds (EGP) on the Arabic version of our website and in US dollars (USD) on the English version.
Prices are shown before any applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required by law. The currency and the total amount you will be charged are shown at checkout before you pay.
If your card uses a different currency from the charge, your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or fees, which are outside our control.
We may change our prices. If the price of your subscription changes, we will tell you before the new price applies, and it will take effect from your next billing period. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.
Billing and automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly depending on your plan, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. The renewal date and amount are shown at checkout.
By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel. Each renewal is a new charge for a new billing period and grants the credits for that period.
If a renewal payment cannot be collected, your subscription may not renew, and the credits for the new billing period may not be granted.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at code@edulga.com, or from your account settings where available. Cancelling stops the next automatic renewal, and we will confirm your cancellation by email.
After you cancel, you keep access to your plan and its remaining credits until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancelling does not by itself give you a refund. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains cancellation in full.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary:
- any charge, including an automatic renewal, can be refunded in full within 14 days, provided none of the credits granted for that billing period have been used;
- after 14 days, or once any credits from that billing period have been used, the charge is not refundable, and we do not give partial or pro-rated refunds;
- duplicate charges, billing errors and charges made after a confirmed cancellation are always refunded in full; and
- approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Egyptian law, including Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
Your content and the license you give us
You keep ownership of the content you upload or submit to Edulga, including your CV, your learning resources and your messages to Lula.
You give Edulga a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you and keep it secure. This includes processing your content through our AI providers, such as OpenAI, to generate lessons, assessments, embeddings and chat answers. This license ends when your content is deleted, including when you delete your account, except for copies in backups, which are overwritten within 7 days.
If you make a resource public, it appears in the community library, and you allow other Edulga users to see it within the service.
You confirm that you own, or have the necessary rights and permissions for, everything you upload, including any personal data of other people it contains, and that your content does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
Acceptable use
When using Edulga, you must not:
- upload or share content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful;
- upload other people's personal data, such as someone else's CV, without their permission;
- use the AI features to create content that is unlawful, deceptive or harmful, or try to make them bypass their safeguards;
- upload viruses or malicious code, or interfere with the security or operation of the service;
- access or try to access other users' accounts or data, or share your own account or sign-in codes;
- scrape, copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law expressly allows it;
- try to get around credit limits, plan limits or payment requirements; or
- use the service in any way that breaks applicable law or these Terms.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or close the accounts involved, as described in the Suspension, termination and account deletion section.
Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, name, logos and the materials we provide, belongs to Edulga or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of these rights to you.
Subject to these Terms, you may use the roadmaps, lessons, assessments and other content generated for you in the service for your own learning or, in an organization's workspace, for that organization's internal learning. Because AI outputs are generated automatically, similar content may be generated for other users.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Edulga without any obligation to you.
Third-party services
Edulga relies on third-party services, including Clerk for sign-in, OpenAI for AI features, Amazon Web Services for hosting and a third-party payment processor for payments. Your use of some of these services, such as paying through the payment processor, may also be subject to their own terms.
Learning resources, including links shared by other users, may lead to third-party websites or content. We do not control, and are not responsible for, third-party websites or content.
Suspension, termination and account deletion
You can stop using Edulga at any time. You can delete your account from your account settings. Deletion permanently removes your account and its associated data, including your profile, conversations, resources, assessments and progress, and cannot be undone. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep after deletion, such as billing records required by law.
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account so that you are not charged again. Deleting your account does not by itself give you a refund.
We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to protect other users, Edulga or third parties. Where reasonable, we will tell you in advance and give you a chance to respond.
Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue after your account ends, such as those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Edulga is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Edulga supports your learning, but we do not guarantee any particular result, such as passing an exam, obtaining a qualification or certificate, or getting a job. Mastery estimates and assessment results are indicators to guide your learning, not formal certifications.
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, as explained in The service section, and you are responsible for how you use it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Edulga is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profits, data, opportunities or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to Edulga in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Egyptian law, including your rights under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
If you have a problem with Edulga, please contact us first at code@edulga.com so that we can try to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Cairo, Egypt, will have jurisdiction over it.
This does not affect your right to submit a complaint to Egypt's Consumer Protection Agency, or any other right you have as a consumer under Egyptian law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown on this page.
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service before they take effect. If you continue to use Edulga after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and stop using the service.
